Access Line

Use any touch-tone telephone and dial our toll-free line 1-888-466-4664 and you will be put in touch with Access Line and your accounts with Bank of New Orleans. You will then be guided through your options and to the information you desire. Access Line allows you to:

Monitor recent account activity
Transfer funds between like accounts
Check the balance on your mortgage loan
Check the balance on your checking, savings, money fund, and Passbook accounts
Check the balance on your Certificate of Deposit
Confirm the most recent deposits on your account
Confirm the most recently cleared checks

Savings Bonds

Savings bonds are a unique security as safe as the U.S. Treasury. Savings bonds can be an excellent way to help build savings for retirement, education, tax payments, etc. BNO can assist you with ALL of your Savings Bond transactions. Money Orders

Bank of New Orleans offers Money Orders for a low flat rate. ($2.00 for BNO account holders; $3.00 for non-account holders) Plus, BNO customers with a qualifying BNO checking account* can receive up to three Money Orders free of charge per month!

* Customers with a Secured, CD balance, or Senior Checking Account are eligible to receive up to three premium services free of charge per month. See checking account plan descriptions for details.

Official Checks

Bank of New Orleans offers Official Checks for your convenience. These are available for a flat fee of $5.00. Plus, BNO customers with a qualifying BNO checking account* can receive up to three Official Checks free of charge per month! You may use cash or a check to obtain an Official Check. However, when using a check, funds must be available.

* Customers with a Secured, CD balance, or Senior Checking Account are eligible to receive up to three premium services free of charge per month. See checking account plan descriptions for details.

Traveler’s Checks

Bank of New Orleans provides American Express^® Traveler’s Checks free of charge for customers holding an account with a balance of $2500 or more, or for customers with a Senior Checking Account. There is a small fee of 1% of the amount purchased for customers holding an account less than $2500. We also offer the convenience of “Checks for Two” at only $1.50 per one hundred dollars. Gift Checks are also available for a flat fee of $2.50.

Federal Tax Deposits

Bank of New Orleans can handle Federal Tax Deposits free of charge for customers who operate their own business. Simply bring in your deposit coupon and available funds to any of our four convenient locations.

Wire Transfers

Bank of New Orleans can wire money to other banks for a small fee of $12. Incoming transfers are $10. (International wiring also available)
