With Mobile Banking from BNO you choose the type of account access that works best for you from three options: Text Messaging Access, Mobile Browser Access and App Access. You can choose one, two or all three types of access.

Text Messaging Access is available on all devices with text messaging capabilities. It allows you to:

To use Text Messaging Access, you send commands to a short code and receive responses through text messages.

NOTE: Depending on your calling plan, you may be charged for each message sent and received. Check with your mobile provider to determine whether or not you have the text messaging feature enabled on your account and for details on any applicable charges to use the feature.

  • Check account balances
  • Review recent account activity
  • Transfer money between accounts
  • Pay bills

To use Mobile Browser Access, you will be sent a link via text message for the Mobile Banking web page as part of the enrollment process. Bookmark the link for future use.

Getting Started with Mobile Banking

You must be enrolled in Online Banking to use Mobile Banking. If you are not enrolled in Online Banking, go to the home page and enroll by using the First Time User link in the Online Banking section at the upper left-hand portion of the page.

If you are already enrolled in Online Banking, you will be offered the option to enroll in Mobile Banking when you sign in to your account.

If you don’t want to enroll at that time, choose the option to Ask Me Later. If you change your mind and decide you do want to enroll, go to Options and click Enroll Now under the Mobile Banking Profile section.

If you do want to enroll, choose Enroll Now to go to the enrollment page. Click on the button for Enroll Now and accept the Terms and Conditions for Using Mobile Banking.

Once you have accepted the Terms and Conditions, you will be redirected to the Details page where you will choose your Time Zone and which accounts you want to enroll in Mobile Banking. (You can add or detail accounts at any time after enrollment by returning to the Details page.)

If you plan to use Text Messaging Access, it is recommended that you set up Texting Nicknames for each of your accounts so they are easily identifiable. If you do not choose a nickname, the account name will default the numeric digit shown in the nickname box.

After choosing accounts and entering nicknames, click Continue. You will be brought to a page where you will enter your mobile phone number. When you click Continue, you will be sent a text message to the number you entered with an activation code to use Mobile Banking on your device.

Mobile Banking

You will then choose which Mobile Banking services you would like to set up on your device. You can choose one, two or all three of the options.

You will need to enter the Activation Code that was sent to your mobile device via text message to continue. Enter the code you received and click Activate. NOTE: Make sure you have the code entered correctly before clicking the Activate button. If you enter the code incorrectly, you will need to contact BNO for assistance.

Once you have successfully entered the Activation Code, you will receive confirmation that the activation was successful. You will then receive a text message for each Mobile Banking service you choose during enrollment:

  • If you chose to enroll in Text Messaging Access, you will receive a message with the Short Code that you will use to send messages. Save this code for future use. You will also receive the commands to use to receive the different types of information.
  • If you chose to enroll in Mobile Browser Access, you will receive a text message with a link to the Mobile Banking web site. Click on the link to launch the site and bookmark it for future use. Log in to the site using the same information you use to log in to Online Banking.
  • If you chose to enroll in App Access, you will receive a text message with a link to download the app to your mobile device. After you have downloaded the app, you will receive a text message to activate the app. Log in to Mobile Banking using the same information you use to log in to Online Banking.
